In the morning up in the redwood forest I was walking around 'round 6am when I heard these tones being generated from somewhere in the forest.
They would beep, LOUDLY,
and they would change pitch
for about half an hour . .
what the hell is going on up there?

Re: Redwood tones . .
Sat, August 9, 2008 - 9:13 PMSounds similar to something I experienced some years ago while hanging out alone in a redwood forest. I still wonder what it was. It sounded electronic. When I think back on it I think it must of been a bird. I have heard bird sounds since that came close. But not lasting as long or as intricate in the patterns. This was above Sunny Brae. -

Re: Redwood tones . .
Sun, August 10, 2008 - 10:58 AMI was near the park in the redwood forest.
It was definitely electronic, produced by loudspeakers.
A tone would be generated,
then it would stop,
then a different tone would be generated (of different pitch and length)
This went on for half an hour . .
You know...
you can control people by broadcasting certain frequencies . .

Wed, August 13, 2008 - 2:13 AMhonestly I think your town is being experimented with. -

Re: Redwood tones . .
Wed, August 13, 2008 - 11:46 AMThe tones I heard were rapid arpegiations.
Experimentations?! I hope not though I'm sure the feds hate us. It's pretty obvious they hate us. There was a DEA official on KHSU recently who was completely talking down at Arcata, as if he were speaking to a child, and projecting his negativity on us as well as saying every thing he could to incite and encourage devision in the community. AND of course, it was none other than a certain local idiot reporter/newspaper owner who gave the mouth piece to the DEA. I hope more people start realizing how much he has hurt this city and react appropriately. -

Wed, August 13, 2008 - 1:14 PMWhat else would they be?
I've never heard anything like it
and I've asked around
and no one seems to have any idea.

Re: Redwood tones . .
Thu, August 14, 2008 - 3:56 AMYeah, where I grew up they called that the "montauk project", except they were using "orgone energy". I remember it snowing in june one year and my mom always told me about the "herd of horses" that all managed to get loose and run down our street together. This was in the suburbs of NY, not like, ranchland. -

nice one, star. That's some very interesting stuff they were doing there.
and creepy.
Do you know anything else? -

Re: Redwood tones . .
Thu, August 14, 2008 - 5:06 PMWell, I know the orgone energy was pretty much like, electromagnetic kind of energy or something like that. I was really littlle when this stuff was going on, so I don't remember too much personally other than the freak weather patterns. There's a book you can buy, and lots of website stuff about it. The montauk project was related to the philedelphia experiment which was a military cloaking device program, but the montauk stuff was about mind and weather control. This is also apparently tied in with the flight 800 explosion off the coast of long island a decade back.
I also read something the other day about certain tonal recordings being the new designer drug, but the people who tried them didn't get much from the experience.
I'm not as up on my conspiracy theory stuff as I used to be, but you can find all this stuff online. I wouldn't put it past our government to play a little music to see if they can make us dance.

Re: Redwood tones . .
Wed, August 13, 2008 - 1:40 PMIt's probably someone's wakeup routine. Certain frequencies can have a soothing effect, like meditation, without the introspective aspect. Think of the early-morning Muslim call to prayers. Sometimes we need stimulation to get out of bed.... -
